Cameron's Story

Cameron Leigh Weisman

Ok.... I was 26 weeks pregnant! And in severe pain with bleeding. I was taken to the hospital.   I WAS ALREADY 5 CENTIMETERS DIALATED & CAMERON WAS BREECH!!! After an emergency C-Section we were informed that they needed to bring Cameron to They brought Cameron up to let me see him before they left but with him in the incubator with oxygen. I couldn't really see him.

We know Cameron was a miracle baby because the dr. I had paged had left to go home and turned around when he got my page to call me. The closest phone was the hospital and we got there at the same time! Also, the transport team had already left to go to UVA and heard the call so they turned around and made it back just in time as well. If it weren't for them getting back in time they told us that Cameron would have never made it. God was really with us that morning!! Cameron spent 62 long days in the NICU!! We are extremely happy that he is home!!
