Tyanjani's Story

From the beginning my 4th pregnancy proved to be difficult.  I had a threatened miscarriage at 8 weeks and had to do some bed rest and then "take it easy". Even with the rough spots after that it was a total surprise when on Valentines Day (2 weeks before the due date) My placenta COMPLETELY erupted, causing me to loose a critical amount of blood and cutting the baby off from what he needed to survive! Thanks to a miracle, a quick thinking daddy, a timely ambulance and a great hospital staff, we made it to the hospital without another minute to spare.

After an emergency C-Section and some time in N.I.C.U., we both pulled through perfectly fine!! We had yet to pick a name for our only son and a few days after we were blessed with his arrival we chose the name TyAjani. "Ty" because it is a cute nickname and "Ajani" because it is an African name that means "he who wins the struggle". And that he is!!
