She was my miracle.. I found out I was pregnant on Sept 1, 02-- her
daddy's birthday! I wasn't ready for another one I had a 2 year old at that
time so I was happy and sad at the same time. I went to a routine check up
and got an ultrasound done only to find out she some type of fluid in her
kidneys. My doctor said it was ok and it should go away within the month.
Well a month later he did another ultrasound and we found out that it
didn't go away but that she gained more. I was scared and didn't know what
to think. I was afraid that I did something to make her get it. But my
doctor said as long as I was pregnant it wouldn't hurt her but when she was
born he would have to check it out to see what it was. Well on March 28,
2003 at 12:51 I had a very happy baby girl.
They rushed her off before I could see her so they could check her out
and make sure she was ok. All I could do was pray that she would be ok. They
monitored it for 24 hrs and it went away by itself. But when she was about 2
months she had apnea and completely stopped breathing on me. I rushed her to
the hospital and they got her breathing again. They kept her in there and
told me that she might not be the same anymore because she stopped breathing
for so long. They put her on the apnea monitor to make sure it didn't happen
again. She is now 17 months old and doing great. She has nothing wrong with
her. The doctors all said that she is A Miracle Baby.
